CLUB LEFT present
VIC GODARD AND THE SUBWAY SECT
Vic reformed his Songs For Sale 1981 jazz-inflected line up of The Subway Sect for a one-off Club Left performance at the legendary 100 Club in London in November 2014. The show was a sell out, and as part of the Glasgow Jazz Festival, there will be a reprise of said Club Left night. Vic will be singing selections from his 'jazz crooner swing' era, tuxedos will be donned.
JAZZATEERS make a rare live appearance in lieu of a Creeping Bent deluxe vinyl edition of their previously unreleased material recorded for Postcard Records (Don't Let Your Son Grow Up To Be A Cowboy). Jazzateers will be performing songs from both their Postcard and Rough Trade period.
In light of these summer frivolities, is seems apt to release a free download of a track written by Vic Godard and recorded by The Secret Goldfish - Outrageous Things.
